Why do people type with caps lock on? It winds me right up, am I being unreasonable? Probably! It feels like they're shouting, how rude! =)
Originally I typed the question in capitals, it wouldn't let me.. it said "Please do not use ALL CAPS. It's rude." I rest my case lol

I hate it when people need to type a capital at the start of something like Yahoo the Y and they click caps lock type the letter then take it off they dont click shift it does my head in people who type slow too.

Well yes...i do agree with u ...U defnitely made a point.....You see....using full caps to type a sentence is the equivalent of shouting ur words online...It also gives the impression that the typist is egoistic or dominating.....But i also got 2 add that using only lowercase letters to type a sentence is also very much annoying.....It shows tht the typist only knows how 2 squeak and has no firm opinion...

I find it difficult to read all UPPER CASE and all lower case. Capitals have a place and most people should know when to use them. CAPITALS all the way through is a written way of shouting and therefore shouldn't be used exclusively. Even the spell checker suggests capitalisation's!

I do not find it annoying as much as I see it as an indication of someone who is ignorant. Just like you wouldn't type up your resume in all caps, typing on the internet should not be any different.

I completely agree. Not only does it appear that they are shouting, but imo it is difficult to read.
I have no problem whee folks use caps to emphasize a specific word, but when the whole sentence, paragraph, etc is all caps, it is rude, annoying, and get me worked up too!

Most people do get a bout ,
of caps-lock-itis, now and then
it does not last long ! and is cured quickly ,
When you try to log in .
Don't let it bother you ,
it is not personal and only transient

Drives me nut too, but for our computer system we use at work we have to use caps lock and it friggin sucks, I hate it. I think it is just sheer ignorance that makes people type LiKe tHiS

Some people use caps cos they're short sighted...not everyone is computer savvy and would know how to change the font size.
But in general caps is considered as shouting.

I dont see why people think it is annoying couse iam not annoyed by it the only thing is if pople talk to much or someone making a speech up and says it everday and troublemakers animals that dont quaperate and peopls nails scrating on a chalkboard.
