My husband and I just found out that we are having a little girl and we can not agree on a name. I want to keep my family name Grace but he wants her first name to be Brady. Brady Grace Morgan? I just dont know how well that sounds. Any ideas on names or opinions on this one?

Grace is nice as a second name...Brady just reminds me of Ian Brady (serial killer in the 60s).

Kinda tough to answer. I can offer this: Brady Morgan sounds great. So does Grace Morgan. Brady Grace Morgan does sound a bit awkward, but then again: how often does any one of us go by our full, all-three, pull out all the stops name? Except, of course, when she's going to be doing something wrong. Then you're stuck with shouting out those three names in order! Another important consideration: neither Brady nor Grace can really be turned into anything horrible on the playground (I'm sure we all remember how cruel children can be, and names are such an easy target). Congrats on your impending arrival.

I like the idea of middle names being family names, but Grace is too beautiful of a name to hide in the middle, I think it should be her first. I think some traditionally boy names are okay for little girls, but Brady is pretty much all boy. I really don't like it for a girl. Think of it without the grace...Brady Morgan. All boy. Grace Morgan is much cuter.

Brady Grace Morgan has a nice flow, but I'm not so sure about "Brady" for a little girls' first name? Grace is pretty though! If he wants Brady, you want Grace, do Grace Brady Morgan. You use both names, and the first name is way cuter! Still has a nice flow to it too. Astrid, Scarlett, Amber, Fagan and Cariess are cute girl names. Well, I think so. You may beg to differ :)

How about 4 names like Grace Ann Brady Morgan; my twins each have four names on their birth certificates, but they go my their first names. While Brady as a first name may be inappropriate for a girl, at our pre-school we have girls named Emmerson (2 of them!), Julian, Thais and CJ and boys named Ryder, Caya and Bode so there is really no line between using family names for a child, boy or girl.

Grace for a first name is better than Brady (which sound like a male name).

Personally I think Brady is a boy's name. I do like Grace though, it is very feminine. When picking names for our baby, I searched the web. You can find tons of websites that list by categories like Bible, Ethnic, Meanings. Try some of these and Good Luck!

I think both names are nice. Grace is making a comeback. I hear a lot of people naming their daughter Grace. It will even suit her as an adult and even as a senior? Could you picture an elderly woman with the name of "Brady"? Good luck
