How can I fix this? Norton Antivirus says the PC is fine.

Edit: Thanks guys for the scan links... but the PC has already been said to have no spyware. Infact, we see no negative results as of late. The only problem is that annoying "caution" to nothing thing keeps popping up, and we can't get rid of it. Right clicking just results in the 2nd pic. Norton (the store edition) says it's fine. I did Ctrl+Alt+Del, but there's nothing there.

Thanks for your help so far though...

Here are two excellent free spyware/malware programs that I use an I am positive that either one of them will rid you of this problem. (When removed, please reboot your system).

http://www.superantispyware.com This is an excellent free software that gives you daily or twice per day updates and will find what no other antispyware software is capable of finding. Scans all 175,000 object in my system.

http://www.ewido.net This is a free program that if you don't purchase in thirty days they will only remove the guard in the tray which is of no real value and you will have to do your updates on a manual basis. Scans all 175,000 objects in my system.

Quite sure one or both will rid you of this problem. You can run three or four antispyware programs without conflict. Only one I repeat only one antivirus program, or you will have serious conflict.

Nortons if you don't mind me telling you, is pure garbage since day one. An after all these years they have only become worse. Nortons does not know a virus from a spyware looking them straight in the eye. An even if it did it will not remove anything.

Just wait until you try and remove Norton. You will be left with over 300 freagments of Nortons glued to all of your files and hidden all over your system and this will cause you serious conflict. (I am sure that they like to punish people who remove thier junk with leaving you all the fragments left behind).

The only program that will remove the fragments from the registry is : http://www.rosecitysoftware.com Download thier Registry First Aid, this is not a free program. During the evaluation period you can remove all of the fragments.

Plus you will have to go to start, run type in: c://program files, open browser, open your program files and try to remove Norton file. If it says. "file in use, unable to remove", reboot and try again.

Hope I have been able to help you.

you can try a more secure browser to protect your PC from virus..

i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can block any any popup and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE browser. as you know, most of virus spread throught internet and webpage.

besides, firefox is much smaller than IE, so it run faster than IE.

download firefox for free, Just have a try:

I found this to happen to me so I changed to XoftSpy SE.

I also run Spy Sweeper

Between these two programs I have had no trouble over the past two years since installation.
