No Way!
Makeup for a sixth grader should consist of sparkly lip smackers, maybe a perfume, and maybe glitter gel to put where ever they want (cheeks, eyes, etc.)
Foundation, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, are all absolutely unnecessary, and will make the girl look ridiculous.
Natural Beauty looks much better than a plastered face anyhow...

Ok, in case you didn't realize this, most 6th graders are like 11 right? thats still a kid. I think children wearing makeup is wrong. They have such nice complexions!! I would give ANYTHING for that complexion again!! I am in high school, and I still don't wear eyeliner. I didn't even start to wear makeup until 9th grade (when i wore like really pale foundation, dark mascara and eyeshadow and bright red lips. I comlements my look) You should tottally wait. The only girls thaat wore makeup in 6th wear the ones who got bedded by 8th grade (most likely earlier) I just don't like it, sorry!

I started wearing make-up in the 5th grade. I didn't bother with foundation until I was in 7th grade. If you learn to apply it right I don't think 6th grade is too early at all. Also no it will not harm your skin or cause any damage to you. It's always good to remember to remove it before bed though.

The really important thing to remember here is that make-up is for fun and should remain so through your whole life. Never wear make-up because you think you have to or are not pretty without it.

some mascara and lip gloss. stay away from the heavy stuff like foundation and shadow. your young pores will just get all clogged up. i actually didn't start wearing until 7th grade, but that's because our middle school was 7-9 instead of 6-8. i think middle school is a good time to start practicing.

In 6th grade I wore lip gloss and mascara (but not everyday because sometimes I forgot). In 7th grade I wore lip gloss, eyeliner, and mascara. In 8th grade I wore lip gloss, eyeliner, mascara, and eyeshadow. And in 9th grade I wore the full package: eyeliner, eye shadow, mascara, foundation, blush, lip gloss. But remember, don't wear too much. Otherwise, you will look like Ronald McDonald! Always stick to neutral color (for example brown eyeliner, not black. Browns and pinks for eyeshadow. Don't try doing smokey eyed in 6th grade. Also pink or clear lip gloss. No reds or browns.) Hope this helps!

When I was in sixth grade I wore lip gloss, eye shadow, (neutral colors) and mascara. If you put too much mascara and eye shadow on it will make you look trashy. It's probably okay to wear as much as I did, but don't go heavy no eyeshadow. (I did once NOT pretty)

NO! I wore just clear mascara cause I thought it made my eyes pretty. That's it. I started wearing make up, like eye liner and mascara when I entered 7th grade, and it progressed from there. I've never overdone it, but really, what I wore then is equivalent to what I wear now, I am 23.

I didn't wear make up until I was 18 just because I didn't really care. I still don't wear that much of it. But I think girls start wearing it at a younger age because of the media images and ideas they have of what is beautiful.
