Maine Drivers License?

I previously held my permit for 18 months, then it expired I know have it back again, then they said if I found my orginal driving log I could send out for my license as soon as I wanted to. I have looked and can not find it. Would it be okay if I just remembered the times I had driven and sent the new one in? I had all my hours I just didn't send it in on time. If anyone works at the DMV please let me know if this would be okay.

Get any kind of vehicle license, and then get the hell out of Maine, the place is a shithole.
