of course ther is but only because we allow it to be . ive noticed that i , myself am easily stereotyped but instead of being mad about it im proud and happy that at least , and this is without trying {it is all genetic }, i truly am aregular person if only in the set that i am stereo typed as . understand ? like if ....... you might be a redneck .... in alot of ways thats all me maybe because its in my blood or because i think rednecks are good people , you know , for the most part ! also i fit other stereotypes but im not sure if i do these things by nature or if im trying to show the world that stereotype is really just another word and no matter what you say or how yuou act on the inside all that really matters is what kind of person you are and want to be on the inside. as long as this question means something to you i wouldnt care what stereotype sumone falls under and i quote " ask not what your country can do for you but instead what you can do for your country " or sumthing like that . now to boil it up i would say that instead of country we should be , in this day and age worried what we can do for humanity and for the earth ie environment for all creatures great and small .

There is some small grain of truth in stereotypes in a very generalized way. The problem with stereotypes when the become applied specifically to everyone within that group. That's when they fall apart, and that's why they are wrong.

I also hate stereotypes, the truth is they exist (stereotypes), because they exist (the ppl). But to generalize everyone with a certain skin color, religion, sexual orientation as such isn't justified. The makers of stereotypes exist, we've all seen them, acting ingornant and giving others a bad name. The truth is everyone deserves a chance before being condemned as being so ignorant. I'm a minority and I have to admit, I've come across the makers of the stereotypes of my race, I don't fit into it, and i'm positive about it, but some people i know do, they don't know any better, and I feel ashamed of them sometimes, and i know that sounds awful. But its the truth.

sorry they came about for just that reason
if you meet 20 ponecians and 19 drink it means nothing but over time if lots of people have the same experience then it becomes folklore ( stereotype that all ponecians drink ) the problem is in the application you cannot say that A PONECIAN DRINKS or that all PONECIANS DRINK but the stereotype would not exist unless there was some truth to it
you also have to consider purpose - some are pure lies purposely spread to control a class of people ( such as slaves ) WITH NO BASIS IN FACT
but saying all stereotypes are false is in itself a STEREOTYPICAL STATEMENT !

When I inform men and women I am a Gemini they simply seem at me, and move... Oh! I am now not certain tips on how to take that however it does get stressful. I have heard that Gemini's are 2-confronted and loopy men and women. Gemini's do have 2 facets. I do consider that. I do have a well (angel) facet, however when you piss me off the unhealthy (evil) facet comes out. My Rising Sign is Gemini, others count on me to be the clever-speakme jokester of the bunch, the only to arise with the entire vibrant, moderately mischievous recommendations (which I do). That's simply the Gemini air of secrecy I provide off. Even if I consider flawlessly sufferer ready in that lengthy line, I look stressed to these round me. I consistently must watch what I say -- there might be rumors of me being a gossip hound -- even supposing my feedback are uttered with most effective the pleasant intentions. More than whatever, I come throughout as witty, and men and women are all set to be inspired by way of practically whatever I maysay!

I think stereotypes are set in reality. I believe they are the majority. They are not fabricated out of thin air. They come from somewhere. Of course its not right to stereotype an individual.

everybody is a mixture of different stereotypes. its impossible to fit in to just one. if you think about it there's a stereotypical view of a person because of what country they're from, what music they listen to-even where they come in their family like if they're the oldest or youngest. labelling is stupid-its what you experience and how you behave that make you who you are
