What a person wears is nothing to do with anyone else.
When it is religion that requests them to wear something and a woman has chosen to wear the veil, then they should wear it if they want to.
Its good to show a mixture within the learning environment, no matter what religion or race.
What doesit matter if someone wears a veil or a cap or a scarf around their neck?
At the end of the day a teachers job is to teach and to teach well.
If the teacher is completely rubbish, they should be kicked out, but if its because of what they wear, thats just plain stupid!!
Personally, in every school and college I have been to, there is always, without fail at least 2 teachers who cannot do thier job properly! They are the ones who affect our education, so shouldnt we focus on their ability rather than their looks.
A blind person cant see, yet they can still learn, provided the teacher is capable of teaching.
There will be some people who argue with ignorance and say that a student should be able to see a teacher's face while learning, but remember that the teacher does show her face to students and female colleugues, just not the male colleuges.
So why the fuss about appearance in schools, if that is not even a factor to do with education?
Therefore, let them wear it, so long as they get the job done!

How does a student or a teacher wearing veil makes difference.Teaching and learning capacities are not related to wearing or not wearing veils. The stupid mindset created among a very large number of poeple in some countries by vested interests to humiliate and harass particular religions has gone too far. All right thinking people should cleanse the biased mindset and allow people to have their own choice of living style.

I am not Muslim but I think this whole mess is appalling. Wearing a veil makes no difference at all to someones ability to teach and I think we have reached a new low as a nation in relation to the views expressed by politicians on this.

Muslim females must have the right to come back to a decision on. the girl who lost her job, went to the interview no longer donning a veil and then having began the job, replaced her stance. right here she replaced into in the incorrect, yet it is on its advantages, no longer a precedent. the numerous argument is that the veil marks out those females as Muslim and consequently prevents integration, No such concerns were raised about Lubavitch Jews, who were huge brimmed hats, and positioned on lengthy ringlets. i have no longer something adversarial to those practitioners, notwithstanding it does seem to copy a touch bias among our cupboard. the subsequent argument is that you'll't choose a persons' words perfect and communicate in case you are able to't see their finished faces and mouths. Likewise, do not truly some politicians have beards? and are not the eyes the residing house windows to the soul, and are not lined by technique of the veil. also, might want to blind human beings be judged as incapable of archives and speaking? possibly that replaced into David Blunketts subject, notwithstanding in my opinion i presumed it replaced into because he replaced into screwing someone elses spouse, abusing his position, quick-monitoring visas at a time of intensed scrutiny on those coming back from in a overseas united states, and so on. No wonder our Opus Dei cupboard member, Ruth Kelly who isn't allowed to enter her church by ability of the 'adult males in difficulty-free words' the front door, yet might want to enter by technique of the servants the front and serve the adult males, might want to diminish back Jack Straw. What frightens me, is that Ruth is the minister to blame of equality!

They can wear what they like. As long as they are good teachers or support staff, it's what's inside that counts.
