Gibbons are of a family ( hylobatidae ) of small slender, long armed, tree dwelling anthropoid apes of India, S China, and the East Indies. These are exoctic aniamals their habitat is the wild and that is pretty much where they should be- in the wild..Funky or not does not matter, But they probably do have an odor, and yes probably do get funky at times, but they are a creatures, like we arew people.

Gibbons are definitely funky, although they do look a bit weird.

I've never seen any Gibbons down the 70's night at my local disco.
Maybe they're more into 80's music?
