I think that as long as you give your childeren and your spouse love and support everything will be wonderful. In today's society, I don't think interracial marriage is considered that abnormal. Also, I have to say that some of the most BEAUTIFUL people in the world (in my opinion) are 1/2 black and 1/2 white!

You know what? People are ridiculed every day. Do not inflict this conversation towards those beautiful children and make them feel like they need to expect the negatives. You teach them to have heart and to be proud of who they are. Let them know how lucky they are to have 2 wonderful backgrounds. I was answering a question earlier today. The question was "whats the rate of divorce on a couple from different ethnic?" Oh honey don't worry about it, I took care of that for you both! But just in case your interested in what my answer was, just click on my sign on name and go to my answers. Honey I live to keep people in check! You 2 stay happy and don't let anything or anyone interfere with your relationship!

Do you mean because of racist views? I suppose it depends on where you live. Most areas I've lived in don't even mention race. I'm hispanic and am married to a white guy. Our kids are mixed, but no one's ever said anything. My cousin is hispanic, married to a black man, and they have 3 kids. None of their kids have had problems. All 3 of my daughters have best friends that are half black/half white...not one of them have a problem.

For those that do have problems...it's their problem, not yours. It's a good opportunity to teach your child tolerance of others, so that they become a more compassionate person when they grow up.

I work in an elementary school and we have children of all races, colors and they are all beautiful and they love each, hold hands, arm in arm, care and play with each other no matter what. It is a wonderful thing to see. The interacial bias thing is for ignorant adults.

You shouldn't care what people think of your relationship and should teach your kids that they are special and beautiful. There will always be someone out there who will criticize but who cares as long as you're happy. That shows how ignorant and unhappy they are. Happy people don't have time to look down on others and criticize. Be glad you're not them!

All individuals face some type of scrutiny or prejudice in their lives. If you teach your children about love and acceptance...they will feel secure in who they are regardless of what others might say.

Yes you will. People will call the children zebras and redbones, and will make gagging noises when you and your love walk by.

Just peoples' opinions, right or wrong.

Hopefully you raise your kids to be strong...not their fault their parents are different races...kinda gross if you ask me.

Yes, but not because of race. They will be ridiculed for the bad spelling they learned from you.
