If kids had good parenting, they wouldn't be disrespectful.

For one thing a school room is no place for ANY disrespectful kid.
Parents who fail to teach their children respect for others should be locked in a room with those kids for a month. If they haven't taught them anything in that month it should be repeated until they do. If after 6 months they still haven't tought the kids they should be placed somewhere where they can be taught proper respect.

Teachers are in school to teach but not to bring up children who should be taught proper things at home before starting school in the first place. They are teachers.... not parents.

Teddy Roosevelt always carried a big stick and knew what to do with it and I think it's past the stage where the stick should be used again along with the woodshed.

It is not the teachers fault some kids are disrespectful. They teach school and try to get the disrespectful kids to be better behaved , The same as for parents , they didn't ask their children to be dis respectful . they have to teach them to be better behaved. Some do any ways... And why did you write only female teachers , it goes hand in hand for the male teachers also.

Actually,it's the female teachers, whom I think have the most patience, because of their motherly instincts. Teachers don't make much money, and some of them don't get holiday pay, depending on the School Administration, that they work for. As far as how they dress,it is appropriate to dress casually, and keep the hair and nails looking nice. What is not appropriate are short skirts, cleavage showing, tons of make-up and lipstick, and large jewelry. She should look professional, and ready to conduct class. Children being disrespectful in class, are children who were not taught to respect adults in the first place. They probably don't even respect their own parents,so it is not the Teacher's responsibility to raise the child, but to teach them the daily curriculum. Disrespectful children (depending on their age) should be repremended as protocol requires. If that does'nt work, then send them to another school, where the penalty is much stiffer.

They start out good but as the years go by and they get older some can't deal with the kids. Kids also get worse as the years go by. I don't see how a teacher puts up with it all day. I would lose my mind.

ha! I want to be a teacher and for no other reasons other than I enjoy working with children and I'd like to have a positive influence on their lives. I agree though that many teachers cant control some bratty kids. maybe they thought they'd be able to handle it and just found out they couldnt.

I suppose it's because they love the idea of working with kids and helping to educate them. Can't believe that anyone one would put themselves in that position for a sake of a pension. I wouldn't want to work with teenagers for any amount of money.

With the hopes that they can make a difference and teach some manners.
Is that why you think men teach too?
