That would be Speed Buggy. It was early 70's Hanna-Barbara animation, first aired august 8, 1973 with 16 30-minute episodes. Driven by three teens Mark, Debbie and Mechanic Tinker who built the car and had a remote control that he could use to communicate with and operate the vehicle.

The cartoon was named speed buggy. I think one of the voices was the same guy that did shaggy from Scooby Doo.

That would be Speedbuggy, kind of a knock off of Herbie the love bug and Scooby Doo ( who put the anti freeze in my carbeurator)

his name was "Speedy" and he sputtered when he talked. . . can't remember the name of the show but I did see my daughter watching it on Boomerang a couple of months ago!
