Use of an antibiotic to treat chlamydia will be unaffected by whether you are having your period. Take your antibiotic as soon as you can, because the sooner you treat the chlamydia infection, the better. Make sure your partner is treated as well, and don't have unprotected intercourse until at least 2 weeks after you are BOTH treated. Hope I've helped.

Yes, because the common treatment for Chlamydia is oral antibiotics. It would have nothing to do with whether or not you had your period.

Yes and you want to get it checked out asap. I read that if not treated soon enough it can turn into cervical cancer. But it is a oral pill that you take once [[or twice]] a day for one week and your chlamydia will be cleared.

I have never heard of a period being down- That is a new one- All i can say is you might ask your gyno. Medication advice is not so good on a web q and a. Just to be safe...

what do you mean "down". You can take prescription for chlamydia whenever, they are oral, your period wouldn't matter.
