Why am i now okay with going to the Gym when I have found it so hard in the past? Is it psychological? I enjoy going whereas I used to loathe it, I cant keep away I just love weights...why is it different this time?

Exercise affects your brain by producing endorphins. Endorphins make you feel good. Just like the artificial version of endorphin, morphine, you can get addicted to the highs you get from this, but unlike abusing morphine variants, because you are exercising & producing it naturally, it's unlikely to do you any harm.

a personnel trainer once told me that when your body gets used to lifting and working out,ur body then becomes dependant on it.i guess it is kind of like a drug in a way.
when i moved to work on the road i had to quit going to the gym,i really felt like my body was screwed up for a while of not going to the gym.so i believe it is more of a physical thing than a psychological thing for me.

I guess you are now a bit older, had too many other thing to do when you were younger that you thought were more important. Now you have bags more energy with exercising.

It might be psychological, it might also be that you're more fit and capable of doing the excercises now, so it's not so dificult for you to get into it each time
