With all this touting of "The Polls," you'd think the November vote is merely a formality.

Wow, such hostile responses to a question that only required a bit of thinking. I guess y'all are still stuck in your attack mode.

Jalen, spare me the liberal conspiracy theories. For people like you, it's "voter fraud" when Republicans win, but fair-and-square when Democrats do. Nobody can take you seriously.

toffeefan: Did I say the polls were meaningless? To the contrary, I was floating the possibility of putting so much faith in them that we just cancel the election and declare winners right now.

Quite a highly coordinated effort on the part of the DNC and the media to lull Republican conservative voters into believing that it's a done deal, the election is over, that they cannot possibly win and they shouldn't even bother going to the polls.
Don't lose the faith. Republicans will triumph in November! No Speaker Pelosi in my lifetime!

What does he know that something of usa would not? He very almost feels like Jeb Bush in 2000 whilst he advised enormous brother; do no longer subject, you have Florida. what's so stunning a pair of guy that may not come forward to the accusations pertaining to to his delivery certificates? Why would not he pass to the courtroom in Hawaii and ask them for a replica of it? via fact the only floating around on the www without authenticity to it by way of the seal imprinted like all different delivery certificates matters? i do no longer think of he has a snowball hazard to seeing the Presidency. something significant will ensue on the Democrat convention. Plus his old pastor has a significant shocker for him and something of his supporters in October; so the scuttlebutt is asserting.

Unlike you.. We respect the right to VOTE. We don't try and take it away from anyone.
Not Hispanic Immigrants who are getting bullied by GOP candidates in California.
Not the Black people who got bullied in Ohio by the GOP...remember the GOP saying "the majority of them have criminal records"
OR
How do NeoCons respect the Vote when its a blatant conflict of interests to donate HEAVILY to GOP candidates and manufacture the Voting machines that count the vote....or releasing the software code publicly so the machines can be "hacked"
I'll spare you the consipiracy theory if you just read the news on the site that you happen to be posting questions on.
U Foolish child...you need to read some news. As I can see, everyone takes you seriously. LOL.. READ MORE...chicks will dig you for it.

Democrats are eagerly awaiting election day.
Republicans are the possible threat to democracy with their Diebold, paperless electronic voting, and contingency plans to suspend the elections if there is a "terrorist threat". Here is a story about the 2004 plans:

No, the Democrats are perfectly willing to wait for the vote. It's much more satisfying to win fair and square.

Absolutely not. We want the elections so that the people can have their say. We, as opposed to some others value the ballot, and believe every one should count. don't fool yourself though, those polls are not meaningless.
