remove some of the water from the toilet by pushing the toliet brush in the hole. add some vinegar all the way to the ring, and leave it for about 20 minutes, after the minutes have passed brush the ring using strong rubbing motion, that should do the work i just removed a nasty rings from some houses were fixing up.

The Works!!....no scrubbing at all. put it in your toilet and let it set for about five (5) minutes....rub with a regular toilet brush....anything that doesn't come out the first time should come out easily by repeating. The best thing is...you can buy "The Works" at the Dollar Store, or Wal-Mart for less than $2.00! Good luck! Hope this helps!
