have huge vats problem and im hopeing to remove the vats program from my car by changing computers?

possibly yes, if they are both the same engine, ect. we do it to 4th gens all the time like a 93-96 which was a 3.4L would be interchangable and a 97-02 would be. same with the 5.7L too.

As long as they both using Windows XP.
What you can do is what said above about checking numbers. Also, write down the VIN numbers and call a Dealer Service Department they may be able to tell.

there is a service number on both computers if they match yes its possible.but with that many years apart not likely
