i had heavy bleeding for 1 week with plenty of blood clots. some large, some small. i had bad menstrual cramps with lowere back pain. once that came to an end nothing really happened. after a few days, i started bleedign again, but really lightly. it was only for a little bit. then it stopped. the next day i went to bed, woke up with alittle bit more. then it stopped. i even had a little bit come out that was more brownish in color, like old blood. ive also had mild stomach ache and mild head ache every so often.
im confused, is it normal to have a little bit of bleeding and symptoms like this after a miscarriage??

It's normal but you should go get checked by the doc. If you knew you where having one or suspecting that you did, you need to get checked to make sure that it's all out. When I had one I had the cramps lots of clots and heavy bleeding and a little more bleeding after a few days, but I new it was coming because I went to the ER and they told me to expect it in a few days. But any ways go to the doc and get checked to be on the safe side.

It sounds right for one, and yes, the period after can be a little extended. Talk to your doctor before conceiving again. It's hard on the body to have a baby after a miscarriage. You should probably wait three months. Also, you need to see your OB to check for anything that needs to be removed.

Yes. Thats normal. You're body is cleasing itself. It will clear up. You'll be hurting for awhile. Thats why your doctor probably told you to take it easy. Ibuprofen will become your best friend. :-D
