i have a 99 VW jetta and the other day it over heated, and it was b/c the radiator hose busted, and it got very hot, but it still runs, now it just rides very rough, at a low idle it like rocks from side to side....... anyone know what could be wrong????

no i did check there is no coolant/water in the oil, any other sug.s???

You could have serious damage.It could have jumped time-you might have blown a head gasket--Is there coolant/water in the oil?Have you looked at your oil dipstick?Whatever happened -your symptoms are very bad. I wouldn't drive it.

Check your oil. If it is cloudy you have water in your engine...ie you blew a headgasket. If this is the case do not drive it as it will cause more damage to the engine. I suggest getting it towed to a reputable mechanic. You can fix it yourself IF you know how to fix cars.

Have a mechanic pull the plugs and do a leak down or compression try of the cylinders. you've overheated the engine and stuck a piston ring to a piston. A leak down try might want to tell the position its leaking from. rings or valves. solid success
