I would like to know where I can find womens costumes relating to this period in time, preferably pop stars i.e Toyah, Siouxsie soux etc can find loads for men but not women

Fancy dress shops & ebay. 80's fashion was full of leg warmers, socks with pompoms on the back, rara skirts,Neon and Day-glo clothing, mini skirts etc... why not look in charity shops you may find bits of clothing in there!!! Also look at this site it may give you some info.... Enjoy the party!!!

The last time I went shopping in the high street - thats all that was on offer!! try New Look!!
I had an eighties party a couple of years ago and took ages to find an eighties vintage dress - no you can't have it! Then the eighties look came back in just after - typical!
Mind you - I wish it hadn't - it wasn't a good look then either!!

Just have big hair, lots of bangles and layered lace stuff and go as Madonna or Avaline Boswell or Toyah. Ooh if you can get the leg warmers go as the kids from fame!

Go to your nearest Salvation Army or Good Will store, they may have some neat things to get and not expensive. Try looking at old CD's online to see what styles were used and colors. Sounds like a fun party.

The Eighties are "coming back in" right now....dressing up for the '80's is simple....mini skirt, knee length black "legging's", bright colored high top Converse, any kind for "florescent colored" sweat shirt with the sleeves and neck cut off of it, hanging off of one shoulder, with a tank top uner, twenty black jelly bracelets on each arm (or silver bangle bracelets)....jack your hair to the sky, with gel and "White Rain Hairspray" and a bright colored bandanna in it.....(I think I've just described Madonna in "Like a Virgin" video......
