Over come my bad boy thing?I dont know why i have this problem a friend pointed out to me that i never dated anyone that lived in my area only guys from other areas that were known to not be nice places.They usually have a rapper type eminem look to them.I dont know why i am attarcted to these guys and date them?It started as a rebellion to my controling parents wanting me to date in my class circle but know i dont know what it is? I even seem to attract these guys. I am really shy and not that outgoing and these guys seem to be my polar opposite and i feel misreable and these relationships dont work out well.

A lot of girls go through this stage. Some realize that bad boys only lead to heartache and stop dating them. Others like dating them and are willing to live with heartache to get the feeling of dating a bad ***. When you date a bad ***, you get the feeling of being safe, almost like you are a bad *** as well. My advice is to try something new. Dont look at one certain place or for one certain type of guy, but look for someone who strikes another kind of interest. Something will come along.

Maybe you don't believe you deserve someone nice so you go with jerks. Maybe you think you deserve to be miserable. Maybe you think nice guys are too good for you. Maybe jerks make you feel superior because you know they're beneath you and can't judge you. Maybe you really don't like yourself so settling for trashing guys feels comfortbale to you.
My advice is to stop dating and work on yourself for a while. Become worthy of the type of man you want to attract. Anyone can drag home jerky dude, but it takes a quality woman to attract a quality man. Why not focus on being a woman of quality, rather than slumming with the jerks?

I had this problem too when I was younger - never really overcame it. Try building up your self-confidence though - it seems to repel this type of guy. Not an easy thing to do sometimes especially when you are shy but if you can project a stronger self image it might help.

you could start by letting some of your friends help set you up on a few dates. they should know the type of guys not to set you up with and go from there. You could always ask your parents for advice if you want them to approve .Or just change a few things of yourself and get noticed for the change and reflect what type of person you really want to be with.

you must be giving off a special flirtation, look or smile or something. Besides everybody knows girls like the "bad boy" types. If their good to you what difference does it make anyway. Everyone has a type that turns them on....your just happens to be that type. zigzag
