Example:
Opposing team makes 25 shots on goal, and scores 2 goals:
Save % = (25-2)/25 = 0.920 or 92%

take the total number of shots the goalie faced, and divide it by the total number of shots the goalie saved. For example, if a goalie faced 20 shots, and saved 19 of them, the save percentage would be 19/20 = 95%.
