Flies with honey.
The nice guys and the nice girls may finish last but they also finish with each other. :)

Flies and honey, I don't think you can catch any flies with vinegar but there may be a nice guy somewhere in the world who finished in the front of the pack.

Why would you wanna catch flies? They have the whole world to explore and the 5 minutes a year they spend in your presence you're trying to kill them. I'd catch flies with a venus fly trap or a bug zapper, who'd want to spread honey everywhere? Nice people shouldn't compete. When you compete all human instincts come into play but nice people fear using some of them, and if they didn't, it wouldn't be very nice would it?!
Do you ask many contradicting questions? It sounds inadequate.

Both. Try the first one, you can almost always turn a person's attitude around when you treat them so well they can't be nasty-they would feel too stupid.
The last also seems to be true, until the nice guy/girl decides to stand up for themselves
