No. Birth control pills do not cause infertility. There is no link between the use of birth control and any threat to your ability to concieve later.

No, I don't think it can make you infertile. Why are you taking the pill if you are still a virgin? You seem worried, is there something you need to talk to someone about? Your doc or clinic where you got the pills has the answers to pill questions, but it seems you may be feeling funny about all of this. You should. You are better off waiting until you are married to have relations. I have been there, and looking back I would have waited. So would every girl I know. You still have to use condoms, for disease protection. It's better not to let boys know you are on the pill. then they won't use a condom and you could get a disease that will ruin or almost ruin your life and future marraige. the pill made me crazy with all those hormones, I just use condoms now and am much happier. You need to talk to a woman with experience. Listen to her and don't make the stupid mistakes we all made. Good luck.

I've never heard of this happening. I've worked at Planned Parenthood for a few years and while I have read that the pill can prevent pregnancy for a few months after one stops taking it, once it is out of your system, you can get pregnant. I stopped taking the pill 3 months before my daughter was conceived and she was born totally healthy, beautiful. Nowadays, the pill has been improved and the dosage isn't as strong as they used to be. I took it 30 yrs. ago and they've come a long way in improving the pill and it's potency. The pill is great, but I wouldn't stay on them for too many years as they are still synthetic hormones and not the best things for one's body. I hope you don't smoke as this is not a good combination with taking the pill.

The pill won't make you infertile. It will keep you from conceiving while you are on it, but once you come off it after a few months your natural cycle will resume and you will be able to conceive. The pill can have some really beneficial health effects and if your doctor has prescribed it, then there's no need to be scared. It definitely won't cause long term infertility, but you need to talk to a doctor if you're really worried about this.

No! As long as it's in your system, you won't get pregnant (even then some still do!). Once it is out of your bloodstream then you'll be back to normal. If you still can't get pregnant, then it is from something else, def not the pill.
