I'm not suggesting that contestants are given help in winning money, but the whole scenario just seems too staged and contrived to me...it doesn't seem spontaneous..anybody agree with me? or with my wife who says I'm wrong...thx..

I don't like how wacky the contestants have to be now to get on the show. They all seem to come with some sort of gimmick.

Did you see that contestant a few weeks ago that brought someone they met at the audition as one ot their 3 people while their girlfriend sat in the audience?

And how about the the zoo guy bringing all those animals and letting the elephant pick? Is he playing for himself or for the zoo? I can't figure it out? (Plus now the elephant's gonna sue for a share...) These aren't just average people anymore.

I really wanted to see someone say they didn't care about the offer and play on without knowing it and that happened recently. The next thing I want to see is for a contestant to bully the banker a bit. That girl last night could've done it... she said she wanted a $100,000 offer and he gave her $99,000... I want to see someone negotiate!! Say to Howie, "Call back the banker. For $105,000 I'll go home."

I don't think the cases are rigged or anything, but I wonder sometimes about the "calculated risk" of the payouts when the banker determines the offers. Most times you can do the math and divide the highest case by the number of cases left and come up with the approximate offer, but sometimes it seems really out of whack!

My own reaction to the show is one of the things that makes it interesting for me. It's funy how you get on board with some contestants and not with others. Sometimes I like seeing greedy people lose because they should've stopped and other times it sorta breaks my heart when someone goes too far and loses a bunch of money that they could've had. Money that could've made a big difference in their lives...

I still like Howie (always have) and I still like the show, but it's getting so I'll actually leave the room for a snack or something when it's on.

I agree with you but I still love it and I play the at home game on my PC. I am still waiting to be a winner. I think Howie has something very attractive about him.

I heard one of the contestants speak of "when she made her audition tape" so evidently the contestants are screened. Also have you noticed that everyone wears solid colors?
I don't think the cases are rigged or anything like that, but I do think it is a very 'controlled" environment.

I don't think it's staged at all, there was a person who only won just $500 or something in that range. If it was staged I think someone would've won the million by now.

Do you want to take the Deal? Deal, or no deal. Where is Howie Mandel... Where is Willis? Where is Mr. Drummond. Where is Kimberly? Where is Mr. T? Where is Tattoo?

I think it's kinda staged. I mean, it's sometimes too weird? I think certain parts are staged and they are told what to do.

if it is, it isn't working. I have seldom seen a more boring programme in my life.
