Are you looking for an alternative lifestyle movie? Try The Birdcage.....funny. Or even better....Pink Flamingos (a John Waters film that is out of control). For a non-LGBTs movie, I'd have to say The Matrix, Tommy Boy, Scarface, True Romance, Caddyshack, Dumb & Dumber, the LOTR trilogy, the original Star Wars movies, Groundhog Day, Casino, Office Space, or just about anything with Pacino, DeNiro, Nickelson or Chevy Chase, depending on the genre.

Better Than Chocolate... oh wait, that may be too girlie. V For Vendetta is a great movie, and also The Princess Bride (one of my favs of all time).
Or for an LGBT film for all "The Latter Days" is excellent.
