I married my high school sweetheart. We went to college together and now we're married. I don't think a lack of relationships matter. Why do you have to go through the bad and the wrong relationships to know you're in the right one? Sometimes people look down on others who get married "too young" but divorce rates are about the same in every age group, whether you get married at 20 or 40.

I married my high school sweetheart. We started dating in 10th grade (15 years old) and we got married when we were 20. We have been married for 2 1/2 years now and things couldn't be better. We have a 13 month old little boy and we just bought our 2nd house. I was scared in the beginning about not ever "being" with anyone else but we talked about it and decided that we wouldn't have it any other way. It makes the relationship all the more precious.

Yes, it is normal. It is important that you are sure that this person is THE person that you want to spend the rest of your life with. That being said, it is risky to spend time apart to date other people because one of you might realize that there is somebody else out there for you. This will leave one of you out in the cold. However, it might reaffirm your decision to marry. I guess it just depends upon your relationship and how strong it is.

If you think it's normal, then it is. personally, it's not. i usually like to compare, try out and get to know what i need from dating different guys. but people are different. if you feel it's right, then it is. remember one thing: good choice does not guarantee good result. so whatever you choose now, you have no control of the future. just do the right thing for the present moment and don't worry about the future.
