i have a good guy friend that wants to come hang with me but my parents are so freaked out that my ex might have someone watching me but i don't think my ex will do that

As long as when you go hang out you don't do anything that could be considered bad for the divorce, like get physical with another man, I don't see the problem. BUT, I think that there always is the possiblity that your ex could have someone watching you...all bets are off about what you think you know about a person when you're getting divorced.

Don't put it past your ex especially if he screwed up and might have a chance to lose assets. It is fine to hang out with male friends. However, if your really worried about him acusing you of sleeping with the guy, have a few witnesses around. Or hang out in public.

You can do what you want no matter who he might have watching you you are separated he doesn't want you and you don't want him
