SEC RULES!

I will say this. Texas could not last 1 month in the SEC. They will be praying to go to the Sun Belt Confrence. Arkansas, Tennessee, Auburn, Flordia, LSU, and Georgia would have a field day with them.

There is no doubt in my mind that Ohio State is the team to beat this year.

Ok, that's fine and good now, but wait a few weeks. Historically the big 12 has consistently had nearly half of its teams ranked. It's always a grueling conference. The SEC has been a very good conference as well, but there's something inherently wrong with saying that any team in one conference can beat the best team in another. Not true. Probably never will be. Either way, USC is very very overrated and is going down this year and next year. The Pac 10 is the weakest conference ever.

As much as I hate to say it, I think the championship pretty much belongs to the Buckeyes.

USA Today Poll
SEC - 6
Big 12 - 4

AP
SEC - 5
Big 12 - 5

Now, which conference has the highest ranked team. That would be the Big 12 with Texas.
Which conference has the most recent National Champion. That would be the Big 12 again, with Texas.

I'll give you that the SEC is probably the better conference this year and most years. Now what about Arkansas? That's what the conversation was about. We're not talking about conferences, we're talking about schools. You can't win that argument so you bring up conferences?

I think you still have to many old SWC butt kickings on your mind!

Hook'em!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Judging by Arkansas' record since joining the SEC I'm guessing you'd rather be in the Sun Belt Conference also.

I'm having trouble with your math each one has 5 right now in the AP. Now I more of a big 10 man myself but here are your SEC and Big 12 ranked schools:

Big 12

Nebraska (17)
Missouri (24)
Texas (5)
Texas A&M (23)
Oklahoma (20)

SEC

Florida (9)
Tennessee (7)
Arkansas (15)
Auburn (8)
LSU (14)

I'm as big of an SEC fan as most, but even I have to admit the remarks about Texas and the Big 12 make you look like a crackhead! Both conferences are among the best this year with 5 ranked teams each this week depending upon who you read. I will agree with you on one thing. There are several schools that if they were members of the SEC, would not be as good as they are now year in and year out.

the large 12’s accurate 5 or 6 communities journey up properly adversarial to the SEC. yet from accurate to bottom, the SEC is the hardest. thanks to the BCS, we don’t get to work out many giant 12 verses SEC video games until eventually the bowl video games, if then. The communities are afraid to agenda not basic warring parties for non-convention video games because a loss impacts their BCS ratings. So rather of a conceivable LSU – Oklahoma recreation in September, we’re dealt with to at least something like; Missouri verses eastern Poly fabric college. see you later as those early season mismatches positioned butts into the overpriced seats and vehicles into the money grabbing parking plenty, the faculty presidents are happy with the problem.

Who cares? The Big Ten is historically a tougher conference than the southeastern...The Big Ten Conference has '33' national championships, while the southeastern only has '27' national titles.
In The Big Ten michigan has '10' national titles, The Ohio State Buckeyes have '8' national titles, Minnesota has '6' national titles, and Illinois has won several titles as well.
In the southeastern conference alabama has '12' national titles, and EVERY OTHER team in that loser conference has NOT won as many as Minnesota, and MOST have not won as many as Illinois!!!!
Right now the two best teams in the country are Ohio State and michigan, and they are BOTH Big Ten!!!!!!!!

GO BUCKEYES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
