Age 47 now.
Back when I was 24-25, playing with the Commodore 64. The ability to make images that moved on a TV set was brand new, and I was fascinated by it. Not long after, I became a professional computer game programmer.

Since I was an only child, the best times were when I could play with other children, like when I attended kindergarten. My mother had been afraid I wouldn't like kindergarten, but when she came to pick me up after the first day, I refused to leave....until she bribed me with some candy. I met my first girlfriend there, and we became best buddies through the 4th grade when my parents and I moved away. I still miss her. She was the most beautiful little thing I ever saw.

The best memories of my young adulthood would have to be falling in love with and marrying my husband. I don't think there is any feeling in the world as great as that "fresh in love feeling" when you can't wait to see them from one time to the next and almost feeling pain when you aren't with them.

Summers in IL, floating on a lake, warm in the sun, smelling the fragrant air, listening to the wind rustling the leaves of the trees all around the lake...

The memories are immense, and I couldn't write you about all of them,so let me whittle down a few................
the magic, the pureness of life, innocents, the rest of your life laid out at your feet and ahead of you, anything was possible. The people in your life that were still alive, family gatherings, the warmth of love.Moms cooking.the feeling of security.the lazy summers at the beach.the girl next door, and how to talk and walk around her and not trip over your own two feet..............these are some of the things I've cherished........and I'll add the pain of not being able to go back there except in my head

Being able to play outside and ride my bike all over the small town I was from. With all the meanest and violence going on now, I couldn't imagine letting kids do it today!
