SIR PAUL McCARTNEY's wife HEATHER MILLS is being sued for $95,000 (GBP50,000) by a childhood friend for reportedly inventing a story that they were both held hostage by a paedophile.

MARGARET AMBLER has issued a writ claiming the ex-BEATLE's spouse breached her privacy after recalling their indecent assault and kidnapping at the hands of their swimming coach during the 1970s in her 2003 autobiography A SINGLE STEP.

According to the suit, Ambler was "extremely distressed and upset" to have been identified in the book and denies they were held hostage in his flat by their abuser.

The writ says, "The private information was mixed with a substantial amount of false and invented information which served to sensationalise and distort the private information which was published."

You know I so don't believe that story. He isn't the type to be a wife abuser. I just do not see that, I'm sorry. On the other hand, I do see his wife, Heather, lying to get attention. I don't like her and from day one never believed she married him for anything more than fame and money, period!!!

I do not believe it, he had a very good marriage with Linda. This bird was in for the money from day one. Several people said that before they got married. He offered her 60 million and she said no way.
I think 60 mil is a good pay for that short a marriage.

I highly doubt the beating allegation. My brother and I laughed hysterically when we heard one of her other accusations that Paul used drugs.
My first thought was, "Well, dear, the whole world new that one. It was quite common knowledge."

I hope it's not true. It sounds suspicious to me because the allegation is just coming to light now. Also, you never heard about any prob w/ Paul and Linda did you. I'm sure they had their arguments but we never heard about it.

Like I said, I hope it's not true, but I find her story not believable
