Okay give me a break. I was asking seriously. The only reason I brought it up is that on youtube everywhere it says they were banned and I dont' ever remember hearing anything about it. So if you don't have something helpful to say keep your mouth shut.

I didn't know they were banned. I just thought they eventually got old like commercials do. Maybe the whole like/dislike thing fans had for the both of them back then (and currently) caused the companies to lose money rather than gain from using them as promoters?

I didn't even know they were banned. I just thought they had their run/airtime and that was it. This is news to me.
And honestly - didn't even know that Christina had done a Coke commercial...I never even saw it. That was banned too? Or did that also just run its course and then change along with the company's advertising campaign?
