EDT or aftershave?

Hi was just wondering what the difference is between EDT and aftershave, is one better than the other?

edt lasts longer on the skin as it contains more alcohol, that is why it is more expensive though it is better value as you need to use less of it. Also somtimes aftershave comes as a splash- on rather than a spray which some people prefer.
