Well I suppose if they were to hire a assassin to terminate Kim Jong's command, terminate with extreme prejudice, they could hardly do worse than hiring Mr Rob Furlong, who holds the record for the longest sniper kill in combat.

Although in reality, they are more likely than not monitoring the communications chatter of the regime. Mind you I suppose 'accidents' can occur and nuclear research can be very nasty when things go wrong, I mean look at Three Mile Island, Sellafield, Chernobyl as good examples.

Assasination is not the answer. The only solution now left for USA is to choose a leader (NOT a silent DICTATOR) for the country and begin good relationships (starting with Iraq, middle east and going far east).
The main thing which US lacks today is the rest of the world's support. Ponder on this. If it can re-gain the world's support (no matter it takes a little while) there lies the strength and the solution for all the troubles we are facing today.
What do you all say about this?

They could but it's a severe violation of international law to assassinate another nation's leader, and the rest of the world, including the UN as a whole, would be outraged and it would create tremendous hatred against the US (like there is not already enough of that)

That won't solve anything. The next leader after Kim Jong Il, his son, is just as crazy if not crazier than he is.

You mean the South Korean CIA? Any Americans would be detected so quickly that they wouldnt even have an chance to get close enough to assassinate him.

I wish America would fix our country and quit worrying so much about who's in charge of other countries...If we want to take a nut out maybe we should begin here and vote our nut out of office.
