You can buy a USB hub that plugs into one USB port and allows you to plug in between 2 and 8 devices, depending on how many ports your hub has.
Keep in mind that some USB devices won't work properly when connected through a hub - they need to be plugged into a port on the computer itself. The only way to know for sure is to try it. If it doesn't work through the hub, plug it into the other USB port on the computer. Your headset and footpedal will PROBABLY work through the hub, but I can't really say whether the DSL modem will or not. I've found that things like USB hard drives that have their own power supplies usually work through hubs, but I've had problems with stuff like scanners and USB keys.

Each USB port can address up to 127 devices! These devices can be chained to each other but some devices which get their power through USB port(+5v)and have no power adapter would not work with hubs.

You can get a multi-port USB hub, or you can get an internal multi-port USB card.

Simple, you get a usb hub.
It has a connection that goes into one of your usb ports.
Theyre pretty cheap, i found this one on ebay:

in case your desktop has a free PCI slot (the white ones) get an internal USB card, it works better than an external hub.
this card has a NEC chip (best you can get) and will work also in your PC and cost only a few bucks.
