Although there is evidence to support the belief that circumcision helps prevent sexually transmitted diseases, it is now not generally considered an strong enough argument for routine circumcision. I've detailed a few recent studies, to give you an idea...
Uncircumcised men have an 8 fold higher risk of becoming infected with HIV compared to circumcised men, according to a study of 2298 Indian men.
In an American Study of 2021 Men, uncircumcised men were significantly more likely than circumcised men (a ratio of 1.3)
A recent cross-sectional study of 300 consecutive heterosexual male patients attending an STD clinic showed that circumcision had no significant effect on the incidence of common Studs
A study by Linda S. Cook and et. al.. found that "a positive relationship was observed between uncircumcised status and both syphilis and gonorrhoea. A negative relationship was found between warts and lack of circumcision. No apparent relationship was noted between uncircumcised status and genital herpes, chlamydia infection, or nongonococcal urethritis"

No, there are no research papers showing a link between STDs and being uncircumcised. The American Medical Association do not support routine circumcision on health grounds.
There is an Australian research paper that shows uncircumcised men have a slightly higher chance of acquiring HIV from an infected partner during unprotected sex. The difference is small but significant.
In any case, both partners should use protection. There is no difference in STD or HIV transmission for circumcised and uncircumcised males IF they use condoms.

No, there's no statistically significant difference between uncircumcised and circumcised men in contracting STDs on a whole. One can find studies that point either way and the data is confusing.
There has been speculation that circumcision might reduce HIV contraction, but the articles on the links say otherwise.
All in all, if you maintain safe sex practices and proper hygiene, the chances of getting an STD is very low. Even if circumcision does help, it isn't foolproof and there are risks and complications that when taken into account, one will see little (if any) benefit.

Any male can easily get an std if he has unprotected sex with a partner who has it. Uncircumcised men, if they don't bath on a day to day basic or if they don't clean good enough can get infections down there from bacteria building up in between the skin.

yes and no
people have a preconception that all uncut penises look the same...the long hood
but some men have short foreskins and they almost look cut..
these guys stand less a chance off having complications.
a fully sheethed penis head does have an enviroment that can be more prone to geeting an std.. simplie b/c it can hold it and may not be brushed off as easily as if you were cut
hard to explain.. but especially with bacterial infections.. after sex a cut guys skin is exposed to the air and can dry
an uncut guy may still harbor the bacteria under the skin..
but with good hygein being uncut makes no difference and is an outdated barbaric practice.....Most of Europe dosen't care for it, it's just a socially created myth that it's unclean

no, it's a myth. since when did men in europe get more stds than americans? americans continue to do it because it's standard procedure, they don't know the facts and money can be made by the people doing it. a condom is just as effective on an uncut one as it is on a cut one. and as for other infections, all you have to do is wash it once a day, which is what all men, cut or uncut, should be doing anyway.
besides, circumcision is genital mutilation, and decreases the enjoyment of an orgasm tenfold

Its odd to look at the statistics on this. In the UK 90% or men are not.. in the US this statistic is reversed. Although it is assumed there is a greater risk - its never been proven to what extent. Also.. if you look at the rate of complications, many doctors suggest that the act of circumcision is much greater than the risks of STD e.t.c.
