My OB strongly discouraged this but my friends OB said that she could. I think its like 4 oz of wine a day. Fetal Alcohol Syndrome is a serious condition and it can occur at any time during pregnancy. If you want to risk this than go ahead but be prepared for the results.

i have always approved of red wine during pregnancy and my kids came out perfect. My husband still gets mad at my one glass every 2-3 weeks. whatever. i told my doctor and none of them have ever had a problem with it. 1 glass a day? really? i never asked, but i definitely will ask on Monday for my next appointment. I love my red wine with steak! but ask your doctor.

and fyi....when they say 1 glass a day....that still does not mean no wine for one week and then drink 7 glasses. it doesn't work like that!

I never drank even the last months. A friend of mine would have an occasional cup of wine. I always thought though if I had alcohol at all and something was wrong with the baby I would never forgive myself. I wouldn't do it but I know a lot of people who did.

The generally accepted answer is that there is no amount of alcohol that is considered safe during pregnancy. On the other hand, I had a friend who drank up to a beer or one other alcoholic beverage a day and has had two healty baby boys. I would not risk it, though, unless your doctor has recommended it, and I would still be very curious why that was the suggestion.

I have heard this also. If your doctor says its ok then it probably is. Just make sure it is just one glass. By now your baby is almost fully developed and even though the alcohol does go through your system into the baby, it is filtered through you first.

I've heard that before, too. But if it wasn't your dr that told you that, you should ask. I hope it's true because when I hit my 3rd trimester, I would love a glass! I've been craving red wine!!

many human beings have their personal perspectives and critiques and it type of feels to be a similar for medical doctors and researchers. in my opinion, i think that some sips on a particular day is advantageous. Dont make a habit out of it tho. in basic terms shop in recommendations, being pregnant is the time that infant has to augment psychically and mentally. each and every thing you eat, your growing to be infant consumes. imagine two times before you're taking that sip and sweetness if its truly well worth it. 9 months might want to correctly be a lengthy time period for some human beings notwithstanding it being any such crucial time, you in basic terms might want to no longer opt to probability it.

yes that should be fine, but try some more of the expensive stuff, as the cheap wines these days are full of crap,,,, good luck with the birth, is it a boy or a girl, or are you waiting to be surprised
