I'm trying to get 2 laptops using my Verizon EVDO card. I have the ZyXEL G-220 v2 which will allow my computer to be a Soft Access Point, however, it wants to bridge only with the "Lan or High-Speed Internet" connections and doesn't allow me to bridge with my Dial-Up NationalAccess -BroadbandAccess" connection. Is there a way to create that bridge or re-classify the Verizon connection? The best solution would be software to use my built in wireless card as the soft access point and allow the bridge to the evdo card.

If I understand you correctly, you are trying to get two computers to talk to each other. One is wireless. Invest in a wireless router. It will let you share files between the two computers. plus if you add a highspeed internet connection, you can share that connection between the two computers and do away with the dialup.

The best technique is to create a VPN like companies do. It's good for big networks. check http://www.microsoft.com/technet/itsolutions/network/vpn/default.mspx

If you only want to setup a connection between 2 computers I recommend you to use RADMIN http://www.famatech.com/ , just install it, open a portin your firewall ()if u have) to access and that's all..

I recommend you too http://www.no-ip.com/ (free) if you have a dynamic IP address. It works very good.

Here you have other remote access programs: http://en.softonic.com/index.phtml?action=last_news&id_section=164&by=average_rank
