They're tight and comfortable, almost like pajamas. They're usually dark blue and have a stretch waistband. I have a pair from college and for the life of me, I cannot remember what everyone used to call them. Anyone know?

Scrubs are what most docs wear during surgical procedures. MA's also wear scrubs in their office setting on a daily basis while docs just wear their lab coats over their regular attire they wear in to the office. Scrubs aren't meant to be tight. If they tie, normally they are meant to go over your clothes. I wore shorts undermine. Then my other ones that are elastic,I wore as regular pants without my shorts. I hope this helps ya.

They are called scrubs. It is what doctors wear when they are in surgery. Most of the time when they aren't in the operating room they wear slacks (if it is a man) or a skirt (women) doctor.
