anyway, it;s a bit bigger then oil. The western civilization, means those who call the other civilizations The Uncivilized or The Third World, are facing their end. Biologically they are not reproducing enough to keep their race\nation(whatever) for longer, within 15 years over 50% of population will be over 60. Then that thing with the weather...huh, it will be damn cold and damn wet... says NASA. Also the condition of US nation shows lack of balance, which might be a reason for another civil war (history tells a lot about future). So anyhow, the most US, Europe and big parts of Russia will be empty. So our great industry thought..hmmm, s*hit, what to do. No people, no customers, no money, no power, no control...no fun, life sucks. Before all that s*hit will start, let's go and establish our control somewhere else, where the population is exploding, the country will not face weather-disaster, people are fresh... ready to get fooled. And see there, they got their target, their ideal new home in middle east...far east and on. The Emirates will be the navel of the new world, that's probably why they are so close friends with US...... or am i wrong?
Oh a small fact by side, beside the fact that US still sells weapons to Iraq&Co. After getting refused from India, on the issue to open the borders for the "western" products, Mr. Bush&Co went straight to Pakistan, where a huge deal was made on issue "we sell weapons of mass-destruction to Pakistan, and we don't care about their millitant regime, and that Ossama is suspected to hide here, and that they occupied Kashmir, killed many and still do, and who gives a sh*t if they will put those bombs on India".
So who makes the politics, the president?..my a$s! It is about buisiness, polit-ECONOMY, industry.

No....they are giving of themselves and their families to protect your stupid *** so you can ask questions like that. The soldiers know what's at stake and have volunteered to fight for the rest of us in our safe little living rooms. To reduce their commitment to gas prices is obscene. The soldiers are drawing a line in the sand to every malcontent that may want to do us harm that America won't give up our ideals and we will come and get you rather than fight you in our land. If you think the soldiers are dying in vain over gasoline, you are sadly mistaken. They deserve more respect from people like you who bad mouth them. What have you sacrificed for your country?....my guess is nothing. Take your 5 bucks and shove it.

At this point in time I think our boys are fighting and dying for George Bush's ego. If we were interested in avenging 9/11 we would have stayed in Afghanistan and killed Bin Ladin. Now the command sent to find him has been disbanded and George has said Bin Ladin is not on the radar anymore.
Theres only one other reason to be there, and that's so we don't notice all the other messes Bush is going to leave us. As long as we are concerned about the war maybe we won't notice the declining middle class, the increasing cost of education, the lack of affordable health care, even for our veterans, the national debt and trade deficits. But lets all pay attention to Foley's Follies. Its a misdirection worthy of the worlds best magician.

Our troops are in Iraq because this administration lied to the American Public... They continue to die because this President is too bull headed to get them out... Iraq was never a threat, and don't listen to the junk that they were. It's much worse now than ever under Saddam with American Soldiers being killed daily, and there have been over 500,000 Iraq deaths because of the lie this administration told and used to attack Iraq.. Saddam was an animal that is granted, but he was no threat to America...

I like you 360. Your sarcasm, is great. So why the heck are people defending this war? No reason they give holds any water. Where are these repubs getting these whacked out ideas? Seriously, they are so far from reality. The world is laughing at how stupid the pro-war supporters are. I used to be a Republican, then these excuses started to seem so lame in my mind I had to ditch that party. Even true Republicans of today would have ditched these policies long ago.

No, that war is over in Iraq. We are still fighting that war in Afghanistan. The Iraq war IS to help stabilize a country that is in civil war. Of course, the US caused that civil war by overthrowing the existing government. The war is what keeps the prices up. If they didn't interfere with OPEC the prices would fall, because basic economy 101 the law of supply and demand and the fear of running out would cause it to drop. Who's kidding who? Do they really think we are that stupid.

U.S in Iraq not only has killed Americans and innocent Iraquis for nothing...all the reasons we were given were lies...but now other countries have become enboldened because they know that the U.S. is spread too thin to do anything. It is this that allows North Koria And iran to threaten the word with real weapons of mass destruction...Bush and his people have brought the world to the brink of extinction......

I think it's got more to do with the consolidation of power for the powerful and I suppose keeping your wage slaves happy is part of this.

Saddam is an evil man and was a threat to the United States and its alies. The longer he remained in power the greater the threat became. The sad truth is that in war people die. I would much rather deal with him and his regime now and on forgien soil then to deal with him later on our soil. He would have obtained the weapons to pose a threat to us here, either by terriosim or by nuclear weapons if he had remained in power. FYI the oil produced in that region is not used in the USA, it is used in Europe so dont go saying it is for the oil.
