Isomil is generally soy-based, which is great on little tummies. My son had to be on it because he was allergic to the milk-based ones. The advanced formula is fine, just has more vitamins and minerals in it. I'm sure your baby will be fine.

That is odd because Gentlease is not Soy. We used Gentlease but after about 6 months we switched to regular formula. Can you get regular milk based Similac? Otherwise, it doesn't sound like you have much of a choice unless you don't use WIC. Would the store let you exchange it for Enfamil (you will have to pay the difference)?

I sure hope that they don't do that in Washington State with the WIC program. I'm also using the Gentle Ease, but have used the Simiac in the past and my son didn't have a good exsperiance with this stuff, but that was when he was a newborn(he is know almost six months old).
