I'm betting that it's lower than couple from the same race. Only because opposites really attract. They make beautiful babies and every time I see an interracial couple, they don't seem to have a problem with even holding hands in public. Honey those days of people not being able to marry out of the race is gone. I live in NJ and it was stated that Montclair, NJ is the most interracially mixed population in the entire United States. I'm betting that Texas is 2nd. I lived there for several years and for it to be mostly a southern environment, I almost fell to the ground when I saw how mixed it was out there. If they like it----I love it! I have no problem with it because I have dated outside of my race several times. People just need to move on and get over it! And although racism is still in the mix, I think when you see mixed couples together they are pretty much saying I love this person and if you don't like it, look away!

Approximately 62%.... higher than average. Can't remember the exact source. I got the figure doing research for my MA research study on intercultural marriage. I'll look it up if you like... but I remember the statistic because I have a vested interest lol.

Depends on the frame of mind. If you think there is going to be a problem then you can pretty much bet there will be one. However, if you go into it knowing that the love is stronger than anything else, then it will conquer all!
