Remember, when you were a child, and you imagine what your life would be like when you grew up? Is life everything you expected it would be?

When I was little, I thought I would be a writer. Over the years I realized writing wasn't for me as a profession. I've also gone through many obstacles I would never have been able to imagine years ago.

But the funny thing is that my life is pretty good now, and when I was a kid or in college I thought being an adult would be much tougher and less satisfying. There are so many choices and freedoms I have now, so many things I can learn, and so many new areas to grow in - it's much more interesting as an adult than I thought it would be.

Expectation is a great word, but life is about growth and change. Change in ideas, and values...and the growth upon them.
