Do you take her to the pediatrition? Your doctor should tell you what is ok.

Same with my baby. She is 6.5 mos and was 6lbs 5 oz. She still fits into some 0-3/0-6. She also fits in some 9mos. Interpretation of size by designers varys. Just like you can try on a size 6 in one store and an 8 in another store. You didn't get bigger or shrink between stoes, the make was just different.
Another thing...the sizes are also based on average weight. My daughter is 14 lbs. Some things are made for 8-16 lb babies. and marked newborn or 0-3. But my baby is 6 mos...she would still fit in that. Your daughters fine.
Enjoy her smallness while you can!! They grow up so fast

But she was such a tiny thing when she was born, of course it's OK! My girl had to wear larger sizes because she was such a big baby at birth, 9.5lbs, but she evened out a little over time so that now at 11 mths she wears both 9mth and 12mth clothing nicely. And clothing is never a good way to judge if she is growing well or not, the sizes are all different. In fact, I have a shirt I bought for her in Ireland that says 0-3mths that she STILL wears. lol Is her length getting longer and is she gaining weight? That's the way to tell if she is growing okay!

My 10-month old weighs 17 or18 lbs and still wears 3-6 month clothes (and sometimes even just 3 month clothes!!) She's quite tall so 6-month pants often fit her in length, but they fall off her waist.
It really depends on the manufacturer of the clothes as they are all sized a bit different.
As long as she's gaining weight and your pediatrician is happy she's doing fine.
My daughter hasn't gained much weight since 7 months she's just getting taller. I guess because she's gotten much more active with crawling then walking. My Mom and other Mommy's I know say this is very normal too.
Congratulations on your new baby!!

Dont look at the sizes, trust me. My son was wearing 3-6 months at two months.
I have seen some 9 months that would fit the 14 month old next door.
it's just like in women's clothing. In some brands of jeans you would wear one size, and in some other's its completely different. Don't stress it. Especially since your baby was born on the small side. It will take her a lot longer to catch up with her weight and everything and that's completely normal.

If your pediatrician says your daughter is growing well, then she is. My daughter was born full term at 8 lbs, 6 oz and is now almost 10 months old. She wears different sizes depending on what brand or style of clothing it is. Your daughter was born a bit smaller than the average baby, so her sizing is going to be a bit different than the average sizes out there.
If your daughter's doctor is happy with how she is growing, then she is growing well. Really, if you have concerns about how she is developing, your doctor (who can see your child, examin your child and who knows your child) would be the best person to talk to about them.
Good luck.

A lot of babies around the world are born to small size. It is very common and as long as the baby is healthy, than I wouldn't stress it too much. Just be cautious at watching for other signs that could indicate other abnormalities that the doctor could miss. If I were you I would look up information about small babies on the internet. You would be suprised at some of the facts that you can find out.

I have a 10 month old that can still fit in some 3-6 month clothes- you have a little peanut- don't worry about it. Plus they never make the clothes right. If she's 1 and still in 0-3 I would worry.

Mine was the same way. She wore 9 mth clothing when she was around 13 months old. She was 6 lbs 6 oz at birth. My cousins baby is wearing smaller clothes than her age would suggest also.

never go by the sizes of clothes. They are never accurate as to what age your child really is. Most clothes have a size chart on the tag that give height and weight measurements. They are more helpful in picking out a size for your baby.
Your baby is perfectly fine!
Congrats

She's just a small baby. Those sizes never really fit the children they are meant for. I know 4 yr. olds who still wear 2 or 3 toddler sometimes. It just depends on the kid :-)
