From what I can remember it was a futureristic cartoon that had alot of one on one fighting took place in a city around 2100 maybe, directed towards mature audiences. About a male character struggling to survive and discovers that he was specially selected or chosen to be a warrior for good and was fitted a device (implant) that was made into the back of his hand that had a red dome in the middle of it that his blood ran through, it gave him special abilities that he was trying to understand. there was also another good character that became his friend. He was drawn to him I believe accros space because he was also a specially selected warrior who also had the implant on the back of his hand, he did not look human, more like a alien vampire and had leathery wings to fly. I think they were the only two special warriors left alive. He was there to teach the main character how to be a special warrior. Animation was great and was dark, realistic like Ghost in the shell. ITS NAME????????

Probably Lensman- based on the book by E.E. Doc Smith!

The animation was on the realistic side for it's time but was pretty simple by today's standards. It did have some pretty cool CGI explosion & lighting glow effects (some of the earliest ever done, since this film is from the 80s)

The version I saw wasn't dubbed, so the story was a bit hard to follow, but I'm guessing that's it.

I have no clue on the first one, but there was this Pokemon episode early on that deals with basically the same storyline where a mom and dad go on a helicopter ride through a jungle and the papa dangles his child out the window for a better view and drops him. The kid goes on to live with a Kangaskhan (episode 34). On your second one, I totally think you're referring to Betterman. Although it is an anime and not a movie, the ending involves two of them escaping and ending up on a beach. Throughout the series, they're not enslaved, per se, but they basically work underground.
