I think it remains a possibility but with an improved Eastern Conference, it will not be cake. I think people tend to underestimate the Knicks because they simply do not know much about the game and tend to follow the opinion of the less informed consensus or are not familar with our situation to begin with. The first thing I tend to here when people object to the liklihood of the Knicks making the playoffs is the fact that no major changes were made. Considering that chemistry was a major issue with this team, does more time together really hurt this cause? Everyone seems to acknowledge this is one of the best rosters in the league on paper so I'm not sure why major additions should be made instead of more emphasis being placed on building team cohesion on the court. It's improvements like that that people do not take into account that could ultimately offset a majority of the improvement in the Eastern Conference and have one of the league's best rosters on paper, reach it's full potential. Our 3-0 preseason record seems to be good indication that we are taking steps to realizing that potential.

Not the NBA Playoffs they don't. They maybe able to make the NCAA tournament though, probably as a 2nd seed.
Detroit, Miami, New Jersey, Cleveland, Chicago are pretty much guaranteed to take 5 of the spots.
Indiana, Milwaukee, Washington, Orlando and Philadelphia should compete for the remaining three. A 20 game improvement from New York is too much to ask at this point.

I think they will be a better team. Even Jason Kidd says Knicks have a good backcourt "If they can stay healthy, they've definitely got one of the best backcourts in this league."-Jason Kidd http://www.newsday.com/sports/basketball/knicks/ny-spberger154934282oct15,0,1023430.column?track=rss.
Noone before last season though Clippers will be a playoff team and we all know that Clips made the second round.

No way. It has no longer something to do with the coach, or the gamers. this is the time-honored device. good now, the only direction the Knicks might desire to be specializing in is to rebuild and reorganize. The crew is only too loose, they want extra time to bond jointly as a fashion to extra powerful comprehend one yet another. The gamers have an excellent style of skill, yet on the 2d, they are no longer good sufficient.

I would have to say no! They would have to win about 45 games, which would be more than a 20 win increase from last year which is pretty much unheard of with a team that has the same roster except for Jared Jefferies!

i think so. all they have to do is have Eddy Curry make some easy shots and they got to work like a team. if they can do that im lookin at about a 52 - 30 season. if not then dey need 2 get a whole new roster. but they are a good team on paper but they going to have to prove dat they have the potential to be the next Pheonix Suns of the Eastern Conference. that's all i got to say
