There are none as blind as He who will not see.....
There is nothing that we can tell you as to why WE are over there. You dint care to listen. All you care to do is try and berate our beloved president.
If you were one of us that have picked up a weapon and chose to fight for our beloved country, you would have a different opinion.
If you were over there and saw the eyes of a child that is no longer afraid of losing his/her father because his government just thought he should die....
if you saw the thanks in the eyes of a mother that is no longer afraid of being gang raped, or having her daughter gang raped to keep her husband quiet, or loyal.
If you saw the thanks in the eyes of thousands of men that are now able to vote for there own government without fear of death.
Then you would know....I suspect you will never know though.
OH, BTW..> DAMN GOOD ANSWER THERE SGT. OOH RAH, AND SEMPER FI THERE DEVIL DOG!!!

I think we should not have war in the first place but , we also have to see the other side if we leave Iraq now with out a good goverment and with all those people that are agaist the U.S. we may have more problems in the future than if we stay and try to make Iraq a better place.
I have family in Iraq in which I miss very much, and I pray that they may come back soon.
I hope i answered your question.
Kisses,
Nina

Oil! No wait... we're still paying a lot for gas (dumb idiots always say it's oil). Regardless as to what you liberals think, terrorists have conducted business with Iraq even as far back as Clinton's own administrations. Even on up to December of 1999 and into early 2000 Clinton's people kept saying that Iraq posed an immediate threat to the safety of the US and the Middle East. Now I don't know if it's all the drugs you guys do, or the limited brain cells but you all conveniently forget these things. Just like forgetting about Clinton's sexual activities in the White House. We were told back then it wasn't our business and we should move on (dot ORG) but today a Republican has inappropriate EMAILS and CHATS with a not-so-minor youth and it's all Hells-Bells. Aren't you the party that supports homosexual activity and pedophilia anyway? And Democrat Jefferson takes an illegal bribe of $100,000 and they find $90,000 of it in his freezer at home and we don't even talk about that. But hells-bells if a Republican MIGHT have given favor to his daughter or some other business... it's gloves-off time.
You liberals make me sick with all of your hypocrite standards and double-speak. You're the true party of moral corruption on all levels.
And this "Hate the war/dont support the war but I love/support our troops." what the heck is that all about? It's like saying "I am against abortion but I support Pro-Choice." Talk about being mentally challenged.

where does a person start with the answer to that question? well, bush sr. did a half-*** job of attacking iraq because saddam hussein was going to attack kuwait, and so bush jr. made up his mind to finish the job for daddy, even going so far as to contradict the findings of the weapons inspectors who said there were no wmd's, and launched an attack of his own to oust bush sr.'s old adversary, Saddam, and exposing the wmd's that Saddam also said he did not have...oh, did i mention that Saddam had oil? and lots of it?...So, in short, we are sending Americans and allies to fight and die in Iraq for Bush's own personal agenda. Oh, and did i mention oil?....we can't forget that the Bush families are oil people....dang, got ahead of myself though and forgot that New York was attacked on 9-11 by Osama bin Laden, who intelligence clearly showed was in pakistan, not Iraq, and that is the smoke and mirrors that Bush put up to justify his attack on Iraq,,,meanwhile bin Laden may or not have died since. but he certainly has not been found.. Hell, now i have forgotten why we are fighting and dying in iraq. What was your question again?....as soon as the meds are passed around here in the ward i will take another stab at it....my lucidity is fading a bit here..

we are not "fighting" we are there to help Iraq in their constitution of their new gov't that is not built on violence. We ARE however defending ourselves against radicals who keep attacking us while we help rebuild. Don't listen to people who say "oil" or "money" or "to take over the country". It is not just the US. It is countries within the United Nations wanting to give Iraq a democracy.

Ahhhh......lets see. I think it was weapons of mass destruction. No........ I guess not none were found. Oh yeah they had something to do with destroying the twin towers and killing 3,000+ people. NO..... that isn't correct either. Maybe it was to gain control of the oil fields in Iraq. When nasty old Saddam had the oil, gas prices in the U.S. were about $1.60 a gallon. Now they sometimes top $3.00 a gal. I guess someone in Texas had to find a way to get more money for their oil. Or maybe it was to get a toe hold in the region. After all there's a new gas pipe line being installed in Afghanistan that will empty into the Persian Gulf.... HOLD THE PHONE! That means that it will have to be routed through Iran..... IRAN? HMmmmmmm... Our fearless Vietnam dodging leader hasn't said anything about Iran lately has he? Oh that's right he's threatening Iran about building a Nuclear Power Plant. Hold on to your seats boys and girls.... Money talks and a soldier walks......

We? Are you fighting?
And all the dumb a$$es that say oil can't stay away from jumping on the propaganda band wagon. We haven't made a single dollar or barrel of oil from this war. Not to mention Bush and the admin said time after time that the oil belongs to the Iraqi people.
You drones surely are dumb.

Good question. Watch TV Bush we cannot cut in run.He feels we have hit a little speed bump in Iraq.As Britney Spears told us in an interview. We have to do what the President tell us to do.Also if the war ends many companies will lose money they are making from the war.

Its a conspiracy by the Zionists to make Muslims and Christians kill each other so that after the all out war only Jews will be left to inherit the earth. Oil is the perfect camouflage for these intentions.
What makes me laugh is that both sides are too stupid to see what is going on. Good Christians and Muslims dying for a Jewish dream.
