Whys is it that we (men) have a girlfriend or married and we still try to flirt with other women or try to hook up with them?

Because so much (not all, but a lot) of "being a man" is about sexual conquest - how many, how often, how attractive the woman. It's all over, in the media, in how men talk to each other, in how they talk about women. Why it's there I don't know, but there it is - conditioning, evolution, whatever. But men have the ability to choose to not participate in it, if they so desire.
Interestingly enough, as women continue to get closer to equality, I notice that they are starting to do this as well. We are becoming more likely to share and compare our sexual experiences with other women. We too, are beginning to resent the limits on our sexual behaviour that monogamy insists on.

we men is kind of wrong. because all men don't try and hook up with other women when they are married or have a girl.............but everyone flirts it human nature.

i dont no but when men do that thay only think of them selfs they dont relize it hurts us women to. i think that it is just a part of them that no one can explain but if u come up with a good answer plz leave me and off line message at puppylover2169@yahoo.com becouse im wondering the same thing

Generally because they want to know that they've still got what it takes to attract the opposite sex... or it could be because they're missing something (needs aren't being fulfilled by the g/f or wife)... or it may be because their hormones are out of control, overpowering them (no self-control).

I think it its because some men are never happy with what they got so they are always looking for better. Some females do this also.

Is that true of all men? NOT......you are including an awful lot of men in your opinion as you see it. Obviously you think that all men are alike. Well I don't anymore than I believe that all women are alike. There are some decent men and women in this world in my opinion..............

Because you are insecure with your manhood. You haven't matured enough to feel secure with yourself so you need to keep chasing skirt to feel like a man.
Plus, you're probably lacking morals and character if you don't honor your vows or promises.

Because there are far too many naive womenout there who believe you when your out all evening after work. There are too many women who really believe your only drinking beer or that you dont look at other girls. So,you can get away with it.
