Actually, mouse is the most common input-pointing device. In that sense, laptops do not have a mouse. There may be a touchpad or a track-ball on older laptops as input-pointing devices.

Technically a touchpad. But you could call it a hamster if you wanted. Just like a mouse, but smaller.
