they did it it Vietnam and because of it the Khmer rouge were able to assert power in Cambodia resulting in 2 million( yes you read it right) civilian deaths.Is it possible that they could repeat that mistake?

Democrats having nothing to do with it, most democrats in Congress no if that American left Iraq right now it would be a complete disaster. Since the Bush Administration most Republicans at the time thought it was a good idea to go in Iraq (to me personally it was a horrible mistake), then the government knows we can't just pull out. History has taught us before, the coutnry is at a Civil War, so we have to clean the mess we started over there and just do the best we can do to make sure the people of Iraq can become their own new stabalized nation. I reall'y don't think pulling out will happen anytime soon, but like my teacher said in History, we really won't no or cant analyze if Iraq was a good decision years and years from now, just like the Philipene Islands (however you spell it). Quit blaming the Democrats, it was more the Republicans, and I'm not even blaming them either because most of them as well think it was a horrible idea. It's BUSH MANNNNN! Holla ~1~

it is US mistake to put its nose in others countries affairs, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Chile, Panama, Grenada, or Nicaragua.
but I think this time, US will be crippled forever

Of course they can leave! But it would be a mistake because the US needs to stay in the Middle East for generations to hopefully rid them of their ideology.

Sure very well could, maybe that is why we should stay there, maybe stabilize the place. But kick out the journalists and allow the military to do there thing.
