I agree with you myself Jerycho, i think it would have been better to end it that way.
It is only my own view but i would have liked 'The End' to have been more thought
provoking as a tune.
At least there enough time for the record to be turned off before 'Her Majesty'

The Beatles never actually wanted Let It Be to be released. They recorded Abbey Road last. I definitely think it is a better note to leave with Abbey Road. "Her Majesty" is such a Beatles thing to do because they always wanted to be different and leave with their uniqueness.

Most people accept Abbey Road as their final record, as it was recorded last.

Dare I speak sacrfilege and say that I'd have preferred that Abbey Road ended on The End, rather than that tail-end of Her Majesty?

Let it Be was actually recorded before Abbey Road. So, in the big picture, it did end that way.
